Wheel*er/ has won the CBC/Galaxie Rising Stars Award at the St.
John Jazz and Blues Festival.
Wheel*er/ played before a panel of industry judges and took home
the $1000 dollar prize from Galaxie, CBC's continious music
network, as well as a bye into the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival
in Fredericton, N.B. in early September.
In upcoming weeks Galaxie will be featuring Wheel*er/ on their
website www.galaxie.ca, plus playing their music on their
continious network.
Wheel*er/ is hitting the road November 1st on their first cross
Canada tour. Check back soon for dates and press releases!
